Personnel (security and reservations/reception manager) was terrible. Unprofessional and unfriendly.

It's unique in Cairo in that it has this large internal piazza. This makes all the difference if you are staying for 5 days plus, to feel less claustrophobic. The negative is the Co sta t work in progress gym, improvised in some hotel rooms. Get it fixed and stop being evasive when asked when the proper gym will be ready!

currently a building site

Pros: Helpful staff and room cleanliness.
Cons: Lack of transparency about the extent of the noise pollution and lack of facilities rendered by their "renovation" of the pool
Location: Reasonably close to the museum
The currently immensely noisy demolition work of the swimming pool rendered the hotel open space (balconies, tea garden) and swimming pool unusable due to noise and air pollution plus the lack of the facilities being demolished. Had to meet up with the manager who refunded the upgrade paid at the hotel for a more superior room
